Sarah’s new band Brass Tonic will power up at SF Music Day on Sunday, October 9th featuring Sarah (tpt), Kasey Knudsen (alto sax), Mara Fox (trombone), John Schott (guitar), Lisa Mezzacappa (bass) and Jason Levis (drums) playing original tunes shaped by jazz yet uniquely drawing inspiration from avant pop, Afro-Latin grooves and indie rock as much as the post-bop continuum.
