Sarah Wilson wins 2024-2025 intermusic sf musical grant

Sarah will compose numerous new jazz pieces for her ensemble, Brass Tonic, inspired by the legacy of jazz composer Carla Bley, with a 2025 San Francisco premiere at Mr. Tipple’s Jazz Club on Saturday, March 25. The project celebrates Bley's influence on Wilson's career while contributing to the evolving jazz tradition. Grant info here.
